Donation & Tax Disclaimer

J.D. Madison & Company, owner of the Brown Girl, Corporate World brand, is a privately owned, for-profit organization and is not a registered 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit.

All monetary contributions, scholarship purchases, sponsorships, and in-kind donations directly support the development, operations, programming, and community initiatives of Brown Girl Corporate World, including our Life Change Support Fund and scholarship programs.

Because we are not a 501(c)(3) organization, contributions are not tax-deductible as charitable donations under U.S. federal tax law. We encourage donors to consult their tax advisor regarding the tax treatment of any contribution.

Brown Girl Corporate World reserves the right to direct monetary and in-kind contributions to the areas of greatest community need unless a specific purpose has been agreed upon in writing. Scholarship purchases may be designated for a specific recipient or, if no recipient is identified, awarded at Brown Girl Corporate World's discretion to an eligible community member.

We are deeply grateful for every contribution and remain committed to using donated funds, products, and services responsibly to advance our mission of supporting Black women in the workplace.
